This customer’s home was built in 1986, and the heating and
air conditioning system was the original system installed 25 years ago.

The AC system was not maintained or serviced in 8 years, and inoperable
for the last 2 years. A window unit was being used instead of repair or replacement of the central a/c system due to job loss
and the economic downturn. When things turned around for them, the homeowners searched the internet for a possible repair,
and North Central Florida Air Conditioning was 1 of 2 companies who responded to their request for information on repair or
replacement of the system.

The age of the central air system and the lack of regular servicing
made repair of the heating and cooling system a poor choice; multiple issues and the weakness of supporting systems
would not be cost effective. After Chuck from NCFAC explained the options and the likelihood the system would continue to
require increasing air conditioning repair, the owners chose to replace the system. NCFAC provided a thorough analysis of
the requirements for a new system and recommended a system that would provide comfort and ongoing cost savings in reduced
energy consumption. The 15 seer unit was affordable, and the projected energy savings were a major deciding factor.

As the original system had not been regularly maintained, NCFAC recommended an inspection
of the duct work. Overtime, dust and airborne particles (bacteria, mold spores, etc.) can build up in the ducts and begin
re-circulating throughout the home, contributing to occupants allergies and health problems. After seeing the dirt and allergens
that would be circulated through the new system (and their home), the owner decided to have the ducts cleaned. In the process
of removing the old system, the staff of NCFAC performed the duct cleaning operation utilizing a high powered Hepa duct vacuum
and air whips to ensure a thorough job. For more information on indoor air quality click here

Quote from homeowner: "The staff of NCFAC made the investment in a new comfort
system almost painless. It is never easy to spend the money on updating your home, especially in this economy, but after the
installation and a comfortable night's sleep it is worth it. Thank you Chuck, Linda and NCFAC staff, for your courteous and
professional service!"
